NEB & Inclusió program
A commitment to diversity and creativity
The NEB & Inclusió program, framed within ESPRONCEDA’s artistic residencies, promotes essential values such as tolerance, respect for cultural diversity, creative collaboration, inclusion, and democracy. Through art and creativity, this program seeks to foster synergies among local, national, and international communities, with a strong commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main objective is to position art and culture as key drivers for addressing social issues, breaking down barriers, and promoting an inclusive and innovative society.
Key activities of the NEB & Inclusió program 2024
1. “Voices of Community” Residency (May 2024)
- Participants: artists from communities with minority languages such as Aranese, Seto, Cornish, Burgenland Croatian, and Aromanian.
- Activities: creative workshops, collaborations with Felicia Trouvenot and Alidé Sans, and the creation of the joint piece “Woodpeckers,” inspired by natural sounds.
2. IMMENSIVA London-Barcelona (June-July 2024)
- Context: immersive residency in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts, involving Catalan artists.
- Outcomes: development of projects using VR and AR technologies and a final exhibition.
3. Inclusion and Illusion Workshops (June-July 2024)
- Participants: children, the elderly, and families from the Navas neighborhood.
- Activities: workshops moderated by Savina Tarsitano focusing on intergenerational creativity.
4. Art & Forward (September 2024)
- Objective: support for artists with limited resources.
- Activities: digital training with PMP, introduction to the Next Gen Digital Kit, and networking opportunities.
5. Metaverse Hackathon Navas (December 2024)
- Participants: high school students from the Navas neighborhood.
- Activities: training in immersive technologies and collaborative projects reflecting on the community.
Cultural innovation and inclusion

With projects like “Voices of Community” and “Kieli,” ESPRONCEDA not only reflects on sustainability and cultural identity but also creates innovative spaces to preserve and enhance minority languages and traditions.
