ESPRONCEDA, Institute of Art & Culture is proud to present the third edition of Collaboration Station, an immersive, one-day celebration of contemporary creativity that brings together a diverse community of visual artists, musicians, performers, artisans, and makers. Taking place once again within the vibrant walls of Espronceda in Barcelona, the event invites the public to experience art not as something static, but as something to live, feel, and co-create.

The concept for Collaboration Station was originally founded by Abi Fantastic, a British-born painter, curator, and creative visionary whose work is rooted in themes of emotional expression, intuitive movement, and bold color. As a practicing artist and passionate advocate for creative community building, Abi envisioned the project as a space where artists of all disciplines could come together, share their work, inspire one another, and collectively activate the creative spirit of the city. This third edition reflects her ongoing commitment to cultivating an inclusive platform for emerging voices and collaborative exploration.

Abi’s own artwork has been exhibited internationally and is known for its vibrant, expressive qualities that merge the figurative with the abstract. With a background in fine art and set design, her practice often draws on themes of playfulness, femininity, nature, and the intuitive creative process. Her commitment to empowering others through art extends beyond her painting practice, shaping events like Collaboration Station into meaningful and transformative cultural experiences. More about her work can be found at www.abifantastic.com.

This year’s edition features an exciting lineup of international artists including HazardOne, a powerhouse in graffiti and street art; Alter Krapp, who brings illustration, painting, and performance into one dynamic practice; and Kasia Wasiak, whose paintings and sculptures explore identity and storytelling. Additional featured artists include George Garnish, Eugenio Shapoval, Kalia Pissarro, Burhan Özgün Şen, Marianna Magurudumian-O’Reilly, Berta Aleña, Ninon Réo, Aina Lua, and Ernesto Muñiz, spanning a broad spectrum of visual languages, from painting and sculpture to installation, fashion, and projection.

An artisan market will offer handcrafted works and wearable art from a creative collective including Ryan Davis, JulieDelPi, Juliette Hubert, Aryana Meer, Wade Kevyn, Cat.the.rine, and Sonia Magic Bindi, alongside sculptures and reflective works by Kalia Pissarro, pieces by Eugenio, and light-based objects from Aina Lua.

The event experience is brought to life through live painting by George Garnish, a fire performance by Nurbloodrose, body art and hairstyling by Sonia Magic Bindi, massage therapy by Bo “Viking” Florin, and magic by Abel Diz. Culinary creativity will be served up by Mollie Wilson of Made by Mollie, whose nourishing food is crafted with a focus on local, feel-good ingredients.

A rich soundscape accompanies the visual offerings, featuring live music from Twelftree & Friends, bringing sunny Balearic beats; Noah Aubert, offering funky guitar-driven rhythms; and Fuck The System Trio, an experimental post-jazz ensemble featuring Alejandro Mazzoni, Don Malfon, and Marc J Curcio. DJ sets will carry the energy late into the evening with performances by Dirty Wookie, DJ Mimsy, DJ Leverage, and Lady Emz & James, delivering a powerful mix of house, soul, funk, and interstellar grooves.
